South Carolina’s Premier Retina Clinic
For more than 20 years, Retina Consultants of Charleston has provided comprehensive care for the retina, macula, vitreous, and optic nerve. We have eight retina centers throughout South Carolina in Beaufort, Ladson, Lake City, Mount Pleasant, Orangeburg, and Walterboro, as well as two in Charleston (West Ashley and The Cigar Factory).

All of our retina centers feature state-of-the-art diagnostic and testing techniques, like fluorescein angiography and optical computed tomography (OCT). Our retinal specialists and surgeons treat multiple vitreoretinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes and puckers, flashes and floaters, pediatric retinal conditions, and more. Treatments include vitrectomy, scleral buckle, and intravitreal injections (Avastin, Eylea, Lucentis, Vabysmo, etc.). Our on-call physician and triage staff are available 24/7 after hours, on weekends, and on holidays for emergencies. We are also actively involved in retinal research and clinical trials.
